Book Review Competition

Triton Art & Literature Club is pleased to announce a Book Review Competition for all interested Grade XI and XII students.

• Event: Book Review Competition 2083
• Book’s name submission/registration last date: Monday, 25th Shrawan, 2083
• Book’s name submission/registration at: Room 1 (First Floor)
• Event date: Sunday, 31st Shrawan, 2083 (11am-1:30pm)
• Venue: College Seminar Hall

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Participants must bring one book of their choice (novel, biography, autobiography, non-fiction, etc.).
2. The book may be in English or Nepali.
3. Write a book review (800 words) on a book of your choice within 30 minutes.
4. Deliver a 5-minute oral presentation on your review.
5. Participants may bring the book but no pre-written review notes will be allowed.
6. “5 A’s” of Good Book Review: Acknowledge the book (title, author, genre), Abstract the story (brief summary), Analize the content (themes, character and writing style), Assess the book (strength, weakness and personal opinion), Advise readers (recommendation and rating)

Awards & Cash Prize:

4. Best Presentation

Note: The detail orientation regarding the book review writing will be done after the registration.
